Rent our excursion boat on Gotland and drive yourself along the Närsån at Gangvidefarm in När. You make your way at a leisurely pace through the Gotland landscape and can continue out towards Lausviken and the Baltic Sea.
A popular resting place is Near the amphitheater, where the Närsån River flows into the bay. The boat is a Pioneer Multi and is accessible, with the possibility of getting on board even with a wheelchair.
The excursion is suitable for families, couples and small groups who want to experience Gotland's nature in an independent and relaxed way.

Pony riding for children at Gangvidefarm
On Gangvidefarm In När på Gotland we offer pony riding and here children get the chance to try pony riding without any previous experience required.
Pony riding takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during weeks 26–32 2026, at 11:00.
We have helmets and safety vests to borrow on site.

Hiking in När and along the East Coast Trail
Gangvidefarm is a perfect starting point for hiking on Gotland, with direct proximity to the scenic East Coast TrailHere you hike through open landscapes, beach meadows and coastal environments with the sea always close by.
From the farm you can easily reach hiking trails north towards När and Lau, or south towards historic fishing villages and Närsholmen. The area offers magnificent nature, rich birdlife and peaceful views – especially beautiful in spring and autumn.
