We offer accommodation on the farm and help with planning hikes in the varied landscapes of Gotland. The hikes go through coastal environments, fishing villages, open farmland, forest paths and along old church roads.
The plan can be adapted to the group's wishes, regardless of whether you want to hike shorter distances or do a longer hike over several days.
The hiking package includes accommodation on the farm as well as breakfast, packed lunch/picnic and shared dinners on the farm during the hiking days. Local transport in connection with the hikes is included. Transfer Visby–Gangvidefarm Round trip can be arranged by agreement.
Arrival in Gotland. Onward journey to Gangvidefarm in När. After check-in, a walk around Närsholmen and Närs lighthouse with views of the coastal landscape awaits. The day ends with a shared dinner on the farm.
After breakfast, the hike goes between När church and Lau church, a stretch with both natural and cultural environments. Lunch is taken as a picnic along the way. Dinner at Gangvidefarm in the evening.
Today's hike goes along the coast with visits to historic fishing villages and open coastal environments. Transport to and from the start and finish of the hike is included.
After breakfast, you will hike along the East Coast Trail to the Folhammar rauk area in Ljugarn, a close-to-nature end to your stay.
You can add one or more nights in Visby, either as the start of the trip (before Day 1), as the end (after Day 4) or both.
The hiking package is tailored to the group's wishes and you can choose shorter or longer stages. Cycling can be used as a convenient complement if you want to shorten certain distances.
Local transport in connection with the hikes is included. Transfer Visby – When T&R can be arranged by agreement.

A cozy little cafe in När that offers home-made chocolate chocolates, savory sandwiches, locally produced coffee and tea, homemade coffee bread. In the shop there are various Gotland delicacies for all tastes and also some home decor
Here you can enjoy a good meal while dipping your toes in the lukewarm water by the beach? Sit on the pier with some freshly smoked Shrimp? Authentic summer experience is guaranteed. We are open every day during the summer 11-17. Welcome!
On the farm there is a service house with tourist information for all of Gotland. There is a toilet with shower, kitchen with microwave and fridge, a barbecue area and WiFi. Washing machine and latrine emptying are available for a fee of 50 SEK per use.
Are you not the person who feels at ease reclining in a deck chair, nor on a horseback. Then this is for you, to rent a boat to look around at other than land. Steer towards the sea and feel the fresh air give you new energy.
At Närsakarscen you get the opportunity to share the cultural history that exists in the area and the people who choose to play theater for visitors every year to see.

A stone's throw from Gangvide Farm is near Närs Golfklubb. A Golf Club formed 1975, dating back to much earlier than that.
Here at the 17th hole you can see an image of the old runstone that was erected here in the year 400-500 AD.
Then, after the golf round, enjoy a meal at the Restaurant Fransan. You deserve it!
Närsholmen in När parish is a beautiful peninsula with a distinctive savanna-like landscape that is kept open by grazing animals. Here there are plenty of rare birds in all four seasons and plants to view, as well as a beautiful lighthouse.
Find it by going by car or renting a bicycle, or tractor and wagon, etc. Stop for a dip in Närshamsviken.
Not far from everything that is going on Gangvidefarm (1,5 km) there is a well-stocked ICA shop, "NärBodi" Here you can find what is missing in the picnic basket and fill the refrigerator in the cabin before the evening's festivities. Open between 07.00 and 21.00
Only 1,5 km away Gangvidefarm in the south-east of Gotland you will find a convenience store open all year round. Adjacent to it, there is also a gas station for petrol and diesel as well as LPG!.
Lillvik - the beach where there is no kiosk and dogs are welcome.
Local harbor - where you have a fantastic view of the lighthouse and Närsholmen.
Lausviken - the shallow beach, about 200 m with knee-deep water.
Herta - Beach with kiosk and nearby are restaurants "Strandakar" and "Fransan"
We accommodate up to 100 people staying in nice 6 or 8-bed cottages or in B&B rooms.
Several workspaces with technology can be offered. Premises with modern technology, Wi-Fi, DVD, TV, big screen, whiteboard and overhead.
