When you visit us, you are welcome to take a test drive with our electric car, we can tell you how solar electricity works, which lighting is best, we continue to work with different energy solutions and also work for fuel conversion for our older vehicles. Below you can see our vehicles both that we own now and that we have been proud owners of and have renovated. You can also rent our Grålle tractor with trailer for excursions. 750 SEK/half day

An electric car that is perfect for Gotland where distances are short. We run it on self-produced solar electricity.

CADILLAC RV MILLER METEOR 1960

Unique RV from the USA on a Miller-Meteor/Cadillac chassis (same type as an ambulance/hearse), completed by camper manufacturer for a customer.

GRAY TRACTORS 1952-1953

Diesel tractors for rent - take a trip down to the sea. Renovated with the patina preserved, and diesel operation makes them easier to drive than the older gasoline/kerosene variants.

HUMBER COMMER RV 1969

English-built motorhome, brought home from Cyprus in 1997. Under renovation. Not drivable, but can be rented for nostalgia accommodation for a few nights.

TAHITI JET BOATH 455 CUI

Fast and fun boat in very nice, pristine condition. Barkley jet drive and Olds 455 (365 hp). Top speed about 50–52 knots.

PIONEER MINI 6

Simple boat for leisurely trips. This is a small plastic boat with style.

Store your vehicle under cover this winter! Moisture and mice can cause damage, but with us you get safe storage in our halls. We offer frost-free storage and regular maintenance. In addition, there is the possibility of washing and minor servicing of your vehicle.

Stra Dakar

Strandakar is located on the road to Herta beach.
There are two restaurants in the hotel. Enjoy the food in Bistro S with its beautiful courtyard or delicious delicacies in Restaurant Strandakar.
Everything is cooked with care and quality. Strandakar uses local producers as much as possible. Honey and herbs they grow themselves, so they are nourished in double sense.

WC AND SERVICE AREA

On the farm there is a service house with tourist information for all of Gotland. There is a toilet with shower, kitchen with microwave and fridge, a barbecue area and WiFi. Washing machine and latrine emptying are available for a fee of 50 SEK per use.

Boat trip

Are you not the person who feels at ease reclining in a deck chair, nor on a horseback. Then this is for you, to rent a boat to look around at other than land. Steer towards the sea and feel the fresh air give you new energy.

At Närsakarscen you get the opportunity to share the cultural history that exists in the area and the people who choose to play theater for visitors every year to see.

Golf

A stone's throw from Gangvide Farm is near Närs Golfklubb. A Golf Club formed 1975, dating back to much earlier than that. 

Here at the 17th hole you can see an image of the old runstone that was erected here in the year 400-500 AD. 

Then, after the golf round, enjoy a meal at the Restaurant Fransan. You deserve it!

                                              Närsholmen in När parish is a beautiful peninsula with a distinctive savanna-like landscape that is kept open by grazing animals. Here there are plenty of rare birds in all four seasons and plants to view, as well as a beautiful lighthouse.

Find it by going by car or renting a bicycle, or tractor and wagon, etc. Stop for a dip in Närshamsviken.

Grocery store

Not far from everything that is going on Gangvidefarm           (1,5 km) there is a well-stocked ICA shop, "NärBodi" Here you can find what is missing in the picnic basket and fill the refrigerator in the cabin before the evening's festivities. Open between 07.00 and 21.00

Only 1,5 km away Gangvidefarm in the south-east of Gotland you will find a convenience store open all year round. Adjacent to it, there is also a gas station for petrol and diesel as well as LPG!.

Lillvik - the beach where there is no kiosk and dogs are welcome.

Local harbor - where you have a fantastic view of the lighthouse and Närsholmen.

Lausviken - the shallow beach, about 200 m with knee-deep water.

Herta - Beach with kiosk and nearby are restaurants "Strandakar" and "Fransan"

We accommodate up to 100 people staying in nice 6 or 8-bed cottages or in B&B rooms.

Several workspaces with technology can be offered. Premises with modern technology, Wi-Fi, DVD, TV, big screen, whiteboard and overhead.

Accommodation and food in beautiful surroundings along Närsån. Breakfast or full board can be booked and served at the café at the pier, warehouse or greenhouse.
