Gangvidefarm is a living farm in southeast Gotland where accommodation, activities, events, agriculture and sustainable development come together. Here there is room for both everyday life and experiences, peace and curiosity.
Climate and Energy
Gangvidefarm has been connected to REQUIREMENTS for organic farming since 1988Today, forage and oilseeds are grown in the fields, among other things.
In parallel, we have been actively working for many years with solar power and renewable energyThere are solar panels on the farm and we use electric vehicles that electric car, electric scooter and electric moped as part of daily operations. We test, use and develop solutions that work in practice in a rural environment.
We are happy to show how our energy solutions work and share our experiences with visitors, groups and events who are curious about technology for a more sustainable society.
Accommodation
Gangvidefarm offers accommodation in cabins and rooms as well as camping with electric pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans. Many of the accommodation is located near Närsån and is suitable for both individual guests, families and groups.
Activities
On the farm and in the surrounding area there are activities for both young and old. Here you can canoe, swim in the Närsån River, ride a Grålletraktor, try pony riding or feed the farm's rabbits. Nature and rural life are a natural part of the experience.
Arrangement
Gangvidefarm is a place for meetings and events. Here we welcome everything from small gatherings to group accommodations and organized activities. The farm is characterized by personality, nostalgia and an interest in both people and the environment.
